5000 Card Game | How to Setup The dealer is selected randomly amongst the players. The cards are then shuffled by the dealer. Generally, one deck will do for 3 to 4 players and for 5 to 8 players, two decks will be enough. The players have to be given their full hand in a single deal. The faced up first card of the dealer is the wild card for the game round. So if the dealer’s revealed card is a Queen, then all the queens are the Wild Card.
