It's snowing here in Spokane today so I think this Elsa hair is only fitting!!🌬❄ . . The first picture is outdoor lighting, second pic is indoor lighting. . . I wish I took a before picture but unfortunately I did not, *sigh* Last time I did a full highlight on her but previously she had solid blonde all over. So today When she came in she had solid, icy blonde ends, dimensional blonde mids and an inch grow-out at the roots. . . This time she wanted to go back to an all over bleach and tone. (Solid blonde) So I had to mix two separate bowls of lightner, one for her mid section with only 10vol developer, because some of it had been previously lightened, and one with 20vol for her new growth. I placed foils in between each thin slice I did, over her entire head. This keeps the hair from sticking together and also helps so I don't get any lightner on her already solid, light blonde ends. (Which did NOT need to be lightened) . . I let her sit for an hour with the lightner on. Yes, I said an hour. Why so long? Well because I don't use heat to speed along the process. Heat=damage, so no dryer for my blondes. I don't want any more damage than expected from this process. Also, I was only using 10 and 20 vol developers, low and slow wins the race! (Her new growth is about a level 6 so I had to lift four levels) . . I then had to pre-tone her hair, leaving out her ends and to cancel out the yellow tones on her roots and mid section. Then I toned one more time, this time all over for a nice, even outcome. . . Here is the snowy white end result!
