Kiwi Syslog Daemon is free open source software that acts as a central logging server for your syslog messages. It handles each incoming message and forwards it to the appropriate destination. Kiwi Syslog Daemon is used by syslog clients, either standalone or networked, to send their messages to a central server. It is the basis for many commercial products, like "Kiwi PowerLogger".
Kiwi Syslog Daemon also has the unique ability to forward messages to any other UDP port (other than 7) on the local host. This means that you can use a network card to forward the messages to any server or port that is not your logging server.
